Lots of CPU power for little money
The AMD Duron (formerly Spitfire) is likely to be a lot cheaper than the Celeron2. In the Multicom price list in Norway, the Duron is significantly (!) Cheaper than the Celeron2. This is reflected in the price as follows that you can buy a Duron with 700MHz for the price of a Celeron2-500.
Thus, the Duron, which should be faster in terms of performance, would be number 1 in the low-cost category -CPUs become. Incidentally, the same picture emerges when comparing Pentium III vs. Athlon. One can only say that Intel really has to be careful so that AMD does not become too powerful. But the consumer is happy, he can get cheap processors from AMD for a fair price, which are in no way inferior to the CPUs from Intel.
