Logitech wireless optical mouse
As the second manufacturer worldwide, Logitech has now announced an optical wireless mouse. The mouse is called Cordless MouseMan Optical and should be available in stores as early as April. The price of the rodent is said to be a reasonable 149DM.
The heart of the device is a chip developed in cooperation with Agilent Technologies, which is supposed to enable a sensational battery life of three months. The underground is scanned as usual at 1,500 images per second, from which the relative movement of the mouse is calculated. If the mouse is not used, the sampling rate drops to two images per second, which saves a lot of energy. All Windows operating systems and Mac OS 8.6 are supported.
