Logitech brings new controllers for consoles and PC

Logitech is presenting 6 new products at E3. The highlights include two force feedback racing steering wheels, one each for the GameCube and the PC, as well as a cordless gamepad for the Xbox. In addition, Logitech is showing a keyboard for the PlayStation 2 and a cordless joystick for the PC.

Our interest is of course limited to the innovations for the PC. This is where Logitech introduced the Racing Force. This solid rubber steering wheel has six programmable switches, status displays, shift paddles and a gear lever.

The Racing Force The steering wheel can be turned with an enormous steering angle of 240 degrees. In addition, it has a double mechanism for a secure hold in action-packed situations. The accelerator and brake pedals of the Racing Force steering wheel are equipped with a Carpet Lock System, a non-slip base plate.

The Logitech Freedom 2.4 Cordless Joystick combines the precision of the joystick with wireless freedom of movement. With its reliable wireless 2.4 GHz technology, it has 10 programmable switches, an 8-way panoramic switch and a rotary handle. The game controls also include a receiver with a status display and a USB port. The stable base is covered with rubber; The trigger, throttle and front panel are made of metal. 3 AA batteries are required for operation.

Unfortunately, nothing is known about the prices and availability of the new products at the moment.
