Linux Mandrake 7.2 Beta released

MandrakeSoft has released the first beta version of their Linux Mandrake 7.2, codenamed Ulysses. Linux Mandrake is a preconfigured Linux version that tries to bring simplicity through graphical interfaces.

It relies on KDE, GNOME and the RPM package system for this. New features in version 7.2 include Internet connection sharing known from Windows, as well as support for cable and xDSL. Furthermore, KDE 2 Beta 4, GNOME 1.2, and XFree86 4.01 are included in the package. Anyone who wants to participate in the development of Linux Mandrake 7.2 can find a list of FTP servers here .
