Kazaa changes hands - download is back online
The popular Dutch file sharing provider Kazaa, including its website, software and brand, was sold to the Australian company Sharman Networks over the weekend. As it is said, the former owners of Kazaa want to concentrate on the development of new, innovative software.
At the same time, the download of the file sharing client is available again and the user rights was changed slightly. The user is now obliged to comply with the laws of his home country, with which Kazaa warns of possible criminal consequences in the event of a violation of copyrights.
