Intel's processor pricing plans

The processor market is highly competitive. Intel has also recognized this and has already expressed rough price expectations for the Pentium 4, Pentium 3 and the Celeron by mid-2001.

New processor presentations will take place in May, when the 1.7GHz Pentium 4 will be presented to the public. The presentation of the Pentium III clocked at 1.13MHz and the release of the Celeron with 850MHz will probably also take place on the same day. Intel has considered the following prices:
