Intel's Pocket Concert now also in Germany
It is well known that Intel is not just a processor manufacturer, but the giant is now trying to gain a foothold in the multimedia sector as well.
As Intel announced today, the Pocket Concert MP3 player, which has 128MB of internal memory and should be enough for around four hours of music enjoyment, is now also being sold in Germany. The price of the 130 gram device should not necessarily be a cheap 799 DM, but radio reception is still possible. The Pocket Concert is powered by two small batteries that should allow about ten hours of continuous operation. The small 'media box' is connected to the USB port of the PC and supports both MP3 and Microsoft's WMA format and can also process formats with digital copy protection. Further information on the Pocket Concert is available on the Intel pages .
