Intel revises Springdale specifications

Intel has revised the specifications of the Springdale chipset according to its own information. The successor to the GraniteBay should therefore not have a dual-channel DDR333 memory controller, as announced, but already support DDR400.

With this, Intel is increasing the effective bandwidth from the previously planned 667MHz to 800MHz.

Overall, Intel would like to offer several different chipsets based on the Springdale. Which in turn only support 333MHZ DDR-RAM or are to be offered with integrated graphics solutions.
