Intel modified Pentium 4 fans

In order to simplify the production process and increase production capabilities, Intel plans to equip all Pentium 4 processors that are manufactured as 'in a box' versions with a slightly modified fan from June 18th. The most important difference here are the removed cross braces on the fan.

It is clear that no performance improvements can be expected from this, Intel only takes this step to simplify the production of the fan and thus slightly reduce production costs . It almost seems as if Intel is now trying to save in all possible places so that the profits are also right at the current low sales prices of the Pentium 4.
