The processor giant Intel has today, as planned, reduced the prices of the current top processors. The price of both the Pentium 4, the Pentium III and the mobile versions of the same were significantly reduced by up to 32 percent.

The prices for the Intel Celeron, however, remained unchanged because they were only recently corrected downwards. The following prices apply with immediate effect for the purchase of 1000 pieces and correspond to the expected reductions .

The price of the server processors of the Pentium III and Xeon series has also been reduced, as has the Mobile Pentium III-M and Mobile Celeron processors. A complete list of the new prices can be found at Intel . By the way, the next price cut is scheduled for end of May . At this point, even the fastest Pentium 4 processors will only cost half as much. Intel has thus initiated the next round in the price war. According to rumors, competitor AMD would like to follow suit with new prices this week.
