Intel cuts processor prices by over 20%
On November 10th, Intel's new Pentium4 processor with 3.06 GHz and hyperthreading will finally arrive. Intel is taking this as an opportunity to lower the prices of the previous product range, in some cases very significantly. The beneficiary is once again the customer, who can look forward to falling sales prices.
For example, Intel is reducing the prices for its processors by up to 24% in some cases. This means that faster processors are now affordable for everyone.
The prices are wholesale prices and apply as usual to a purchase of 1000 pieces. The end consumer prices are likely to be slightly higher.
