Intel code name Brookdale has a name
As we have often reported, Intel is currently working feverishly on the completion of a Pentium 4 chipset that will support the usual SDRAM and later also DDR-SDRAM. Up until now, the internal code name of the chip was Brookdale, but it has now been announced that the chipset will supposedly be officially named i845 when it is introduced.
Although Intel has not yet officially confirmed this name, it is from the Previous experience with naming at Intel is quite logical. Maybe Intel will announce further details at CeBit.
