Intel Almador (i830) does not appear
Intel has apparently removed the Pentium III motherboard chipset i830, code name Almador, planned for 2001, from the roadmaps. Although the Almador-M notebook chipset is still being planned, which will also appear in the third quarter, it will not bring the promised DDR-SDRAM support for Pentium III and Celeron either.
With it Obviously, Intel has given up support for DDR-SDRAM at least for Pentium III and Celeron.
