Inno3D Tornado GeForce3 Ti500 in the test: Against the ATi Radeon 8500

The Inno3D Tornado GeForce3 Ti 500 is a real high-end graphics card that leaves nothing to be desired for the hard core gamer. Absolutely fast, stable and without a really negative aspect. However, the TV picture of the Radeon 8500 is better and you won't find the dual head function on nVidia either. Even if it cannot beat the Radeon 8500 in all disciplines, it can still call itself the better card in terms of performance. The drivers are fully developed. We couldn't observe any system crashes under any operating system. In comparison with the other GeForce3 cards, it quickly becomes clear that the difference to the Ti 200 is huge, but the switch from a 'normal' GeForce3 card is hardly worthwhile. The card currently costs around DM 749 and is available from Compuflash , among others. Despite the good performance, you shouldn't forget that the Inno3D Tornado GeForce3 Ti 500 is around 200 DM more expensive than the PowerMagic Radeon 8500 and therefore offers a poorer price/performance ratio. The 200 DM surcharge pays for itself very quickly thanks to stability,Compatibility and a not short interval in driver development.

As always, the forum is responsible for questions.
