Inno3D Tornado GeForce3 Ti500 in the test: Against the ATi Radeon 8500

Vulpine GLMark

GLMark was developed by the German software company Vulpine and, like 3DMark2000 and 3DMark2001 for DirectX, is a purely synthetic one Benchmark for OpenGL. The benchmark is highly complex and can already use some of the new GeForce3 features. Since the Radeon 8500 unfortunately cannot be denied under the GeForce3 settings, we have only let the 3 GeForce3 cards compete against each other in order to test the performance differences of the special GeForce3 features.

The performance differences between the three GeForce3 cards become very clear here. The Ti 500, how else could it be, at the top. It has a lead of approx. 6.5% -11% over the GeForce3 and even approx. 13.6% - 27% over the Ti 200. But even the GeForce3 is still between approx. 6.8% - 13.6% before the Ti 200.

The Dronezmark is included in the demo as well as in the full version of Dronez and is an OpenGLGame that comes with some GeForce3 cards as a bundle. In the demo overwhelming effects are shown, but it seems to have been optimized for GeForce3, which is why we are concentrating entirely on the GeForce3 cards here and have therefore failed under the GeForce3 high quality settings.

If you look at the diagram, you will notice fast to the fact that the Ti 500 is between 8% and 16% faster than the GeForce3 and between 19% and 33% faster than the GeForce3 Ti 200.
