Overclocking Benchmarks (Part 1)

The following diagrams illustrate how overclocking affects the performance of graphics cards. We tested the overclocked graphics cards with 3DMark 2000 and 2001, the Vulpine GLMark, Quake 3 Arena and Unreal Tournament.

Both graphics cards can benefit from the higher clock rate in 3DMark 2000. The increase in performance according to points is very clear.

The latest version of the 3DMark series shows the same picture. Both graphics cards justify the overclocking with a noticeably higher score.

Even if you only look at the Game 3 test, both graphics cards can improve. The plus in performance is slightly greater with the 32MB variant than with the 64MB variant, as its memory has also been overclocked more in percentage terms.
