IBM super monitor
IBM presented a new super monitor this week, which can display images 12x sharper than today's screens. With more than 9 million pixels on a 22 'monitor, the picture is just as sharp as a photo and even 4.5x sharper than high-end televisions.
The liquid crystal display is not based on traditional metals such as molybdenum and tungsten, but on aluminum, and experimenting with copper as well. The monitor will be used for simulations of nuclear weapons, in medicine, in the design sector and for weather forecasting.
