Gnome 2.0 released as beta
The development team of Gnome 2.0 calls on all users to subject the software to an endurance test and to report any errors. In addition to anti-aliasing and multilingual menus, the new version of Gnome also offers improved input options for the disabled.
Especially important for users who have not yet been able to use their computer to the full because of a disability. The alpha version was still intended for programmers who want to port their applications to Gnome 2.0. Although it was actually said that Gnome 2.0 would be released on March 15th, the release of the new version will take until the end of March. Before that, there will be an interim version, Release Candidate 1.
