GeForce successor NV11 and NV15 are coming
After a long wait, the graphics specialist nVidia will present two new graphics chips at the end of April or beginning of May, which are supposed to exceed the performance of the GeForce256. We are talking about the NV11 and NV15 to further consolidate the manufacturer's market position.
It will be at the end of April and beginning of May be ready now. The nVidia GeForce 256 successors will hit the market. However, these are not just Pro versions of the GeForce, but two completely new chips, the NV15 and the NV11. The NV11 is a slimmed-down version of the NV15. It doesn't have quite as much performance as the NV15, but is still faster than the normal GeForce. On the other hand, it has the advantage that it can be operated dual-head moderately (as with the Matrox G400 DH!). That means you can choose between different screens (e.g. LCD panel, television, normal monitor). Unfortunately, the NV15 is not equipped with this useful feature, but it has more power. There should also be a notebook version of the NV11, which should be interesting for gamers who like to play something on the go.
