Future planning by AMD and Infineon in Dresden?
According to a Dresden newspaper, the two semiconductor manufacturers AMD and Infineon are planning a major joint investment in Dresden. In this first joint project between the two chip giants and a third partner, a center for chip architecture is to be built on the Dresden-Rähnitz industrial estate by 2003.
