First KT333 boards appeared in Japan

After Gigabyte announced its first KT333 board on February 5th, it appeared in stores in Japan today. The board is the Gigabyte GA-7VRXP, which makes it the first KT333 board ever on the market.

The following are the technical data of the GA-7VRXP: 3 DIMM banks for up to 3 GB PC2700 DDR-RAM, 1x AGP 4x, 5x PCI and ATA133 support, which is integrated in the Southbridge VIA VT8233A. Also on the board is a Promise (PDC 20276) IDE RAID controller, the Creative CT5880 sound chip with 6-channel sound and the VIA VT6202 USB 2.0 controller. As usual, Gigabyte also offers its well-known dual BIOS for this board. The price is only around 172, - € (148, - to 150, - US dollars), an interesting price for such a board with a brand new chipset.
