First GeForce 4 Ti4600 available in Japan
Today the time has come, the first GeForce 4 Ti4600 graphics cards could be purchased in Japan, the Leadtek WinFast A250 Ultra TD. The most striking thing about the graphics card is the heat sink with two fans, which surrounds the front and back.
The colleagues Akiba also took a lot of photos of the card and even removed the heat sink once. An NV25 graphics chip in revision A2 and the addition of Ultra, which is operated at 300 MHz, came to light. There is also reason to be pleased with the 128 MB RAM, so Samsung DDR-RAM chips were used, which allow a frequency of up to 357 MHz (714 MHz DDR) with 2.8 ns, but are operated at 330 MHz. To what extent the built-in 'cooler monster', which cools both the GPU and the RAM, remains to be seen, the volume caused by the two fans certainly also plays a role. This model from Leadtek does not yet have hardware monitoring, which will only be available for the WinFast A250 Ultra TDH.
