First data for CeBIT 2002

The first dates for CeBIT 2002 have now been announced in a press release. So far, more than 8,000 exhibitors have registered, many of them from all over the world, a third of them from Asia and the Pacific region.

Already now, five months before CeBIT, over 430,000 square meters of exhibition space are rented. Deutsche Messe AG Hanover announced that there were over 3,000 exhibitors from abroad alone, including 1,000 direct participants from Asia/Pacific. By participating as a subsidiary, this number is likely to be considerably higher; even from China, over 100 exhibitors have already registered, compared to 25 this year. Next year CeBIT will last one day longer, it will take place from Wednesday, March 13th to Wednesday, March 20th, 2002.
