First boards with Intel i845D appeared

The first motherboards with the Intel i845D chipset from four different manufacturers have already appeared in Japan. The Pentium 4 chipset supports DDR-RAM and will not be officially presented by Intel until next year.

According to the Akiba PC Hotline , boards from Microstar (MSI 845 Ultra-AR), ASUS (P4B 266), FIC (VC5) and spotted by Transcend (TS-ABR4), the MSI board comes up with a red-colored PCB. The prices for the boards are the equivalent of 175-195 €, the boards will probably also be available in the USA soon.
