Fewer internet connections in the US
A study by Telecommunications Reports International has shown that there was a decline in private Internet connections for the first time in the USA in the first quarter of this year. According to this, 68.5 million households have an Internet connection, which corresponds to a decrease of 0.3 percent compared to the beginning of the year.
It is also interesting that 49.6 million households (8% more) now have Internet access pay, although advertising-financed access and cheap flat rates in addition to landlines are very widespread in the USA. In most cases, these inexpensive accesses are associated with poor service or the disclosure of personal data.
