Epox announces motherboards with bluetooth
At Computex 2002 in Taipei, Epox presented two new mainboards to the public, which can optionally be equipped with Bluetooth radio modules. With the 4BEAV, the Intel fan base was thought of and the 8K5A2 + is aimed at AMD disciples.
Both Models are supplied with a BT-MD01 module that leads the antenna required for Bluetooth to the outside via a USB Bluetooth bridge and a slot cover. The surcharge for the Bluetooth variants should be around 40 euros. In addition to MSI, Epox is the second manufacturer to optionally equip its boards with Bluetooth. In order to set themselves apart from the other manufacturers, the individual companies have recently been placing increasing value on individuality and features that other manufacturers do not have to offer. In addition, Epox repeated the announcement that it had already made at CeBIT that it would like to focus more on Intel platforms in the future. In the mainboard area with VIA chipsets for AMD's processor family, they have already risen to become the market leader.
