Environmentally friendly mainboard from Fujitsu

With the Limited Green Edition of the D1337-A mainboard, Fujitsu-Siemens is introducing a mainboard for the first time that is more environmentally friendly than conventional mainboards by almost completely avoiding harmful substances. With this, Fujitsu-Siemens wanted to show that the low-emission production of electronic assemblies can already be realized today.

The lead content was reduced from 12 grams per main board to 3 grams in the soldering processes. Another contribution was made by the elimination of lead and halogenated circuit boards. According to Fujitsu-Siemens, the bromine and chloride content has been reduced in the same ratio.

The D1337-A is a Pentium 4 mainboard with an i845 chipset and SD-Ram support.
