Elsa speaks out against ATi chips
Now that ATI has decided to sell graphics chips to interested companies for the first time in the company's history, we can look forward to the result of this market opening. The Aachen-based company Elsa gave the chip giant a first rejection today.
'You have no plans to publish cards with ATI's product range.' This move should certainly not come as a surprise. Elsa recently became nVidia's strategic partner and has a number of advantages in terms of the conditions and delivery of GeForce chips. Firstly, this means that there is no need to accept other manufacturers as suppliers and, secondly, one does not want to forfeit the good and profitable relationship with nVidia.
