Elsa is about to end
Already at the end of last year, the Aachen company Elsa got into a tailspin. After closing the third quarter of 2001 with a loss of 4.9 million euros, today seven banks canceled their loans for 28 million euros as of February 15.
After this announcement became known, the share, which was temporarily suspended from trading, fell by 58 percent to 0.75 euros. One of the former market leaders in the graphics card segment and exclusive supplier of graphics cards with nVidia's workstation chip Quadro is also part of the ever-growing list of penny stocks.
As Elsa announced, the board is currently checking whether the requirements for one Bankruptcy petitions are given. Since there are currently no funds available to settle the loans and further loans amounting to 10 million euros from another bank expire at the end of March, the continued existence of the company is currently questionable.
The message that Elsa will also have graphics cards today announced with GeForce 4 chip, is now obsolete.
