Durons with 600 and 700 MHz for notebooks
With the Durons with 600 and 700 MHz, AMD is bringing the first processors with K7 architecture for notebooks onto the market. From now on, AMD will be producing 600 and 700 Durons in large numbers, so that manufacturers will pay 75 US dollars for the 600 and 123 US dollars for the 700 (1000 units).
We are AMD with the PowerNow! do without the chips. Power-saving technology will only be used in the models with the code names Morgan and Palomino announced for the first half of 2001. AMD will continue to sell the models from the K6 family until the second half of 2001 and then phase them out.
