Do we have to wait any longer for the RV250?
If you can believe the unofficial sources, ATI will not present a new graphics chip at the upcoming CeBit. The manufacturer ATI was planning to present the new chip called RV250 to the public at CeBit.
If this is the case, the A4 will be the only really new product presented. ATI's A4 is a new chipset. A Radeon VE should work as the graphics core in it. As far as graphics cards are concerned, the Radeon 8500XT will be presented. The only differences to the original Radeon 8500 are the clock rate and the amount of memory. The 128 Mbyte DDR-RAM and the chip are clocked at 300 MHz. This corresponds to a small increase in clock rate of 25 MHz.
