DirectX 9.0 Uninstaller for Windows XP

The ninth version of the Microsoft API DirectX has been officially available for four days and should already be found on a whole horde of computers. But what should you do if old programs refuse to work due to (still) missing patches?

Although the downward compatibility of DirectX should only lead to complications in exceptional cases, these are serious if you want your old version back. In view of the fact that there is currently no software on the market that uses DirectX 9.0, this is not a difficult step. But this is now possible through external tools, since Microsoft does not offer such a function itself.

'GxV of #betas' has written such a program that is able to use the original Recover DirectX 8.1 files from the installation CD. The DirectX Buster unfortunately does not yet support this version.
