DDR333 RoundUp - Six memory modules in the test
Whether current chips from VIA, SiS and Co., they are all screaming for the brand new DDR333. But not only our reviews have shown that corresponding chipsets are really faster than their predecessors only with very high quality memory. But what does high quality mean?
We got six different RAM modules and competed against each other on both an AMD and an Intel Pentium 4 platform. Samsung, Corsair, Crucial, Nanya, Kingston and OCZ are the names of the rivals who compete for the crown of the best memory and gave us pure benchmarks for over a week. In addition, we have grabbed a memory module for all readers who have terms like 'Command Rate' and 'CAS Latency', but whose practical use is inconclusive, and compete against each other with all possible timing combinations. But the effort was worth it and you can find the result in our latest article .
