DDR3-1800 memory with XMP from OCZ
The Californian memory manufacturer OCZ is offering a new DDR3-1800 memory of the Titanium series, which is especially in connection with the upcoming X48 Express Chipset and Intel's, Extreme Memory introduced with the X38 Profiles (XMP) should convince.
The 1 GB modules with the designation 'OCZ DDR3 PC3-14400 Intel XMP Ready Titanium Edition' are available both individually and in a dual-channel kit . Other key data include the timings of 8-8-8 (CAS-TRCD-TRP) specified by Intel, another XMP with timings of 7-7-7 and a memory voltage of 2.05 volts. The latter, however, is comparatively high, considering that there were already modules with identical clock and CL8 timings in the summer that managed with 1.9 volts of storage voltage.
