Data on the nVidia Crush chipset
The first details on the technical data of the nVidia Crush chipset have surfaced on the Internet, but have not yet been confirmed by nVidia. The chip, which supports AMD Athlons and Durons, will be used in desktop PCs and Xbox in the next year.
The new chip has DDR-RAM support for PC1600 (200MHz), PC2100 (266MHz ) and PC2600 (333MHz). The chip also supports an integrated GeForce2 MX graphics solution, 4x AGP Pro slot, UMDA 100, 2 USB ports, Ethernet 10/100 Mbit/s and it will be available in different versions with 64 bit, 128 bit and dual 128 bit memory bus. Mainboards with the nVidia Crush chipset are likely produced by Gigabyte, MSI, Asus, Abit and AOpen.
