Crysis and UT 3 with disappointing US numbers?

When looking at the US sales figures for November determined by the NPD Group, one thing above all strikes you: Despite some strong starts, not a single PC title can be found in the top ten bestsellers (see fold-out text below).

Already from this a disappointing US start for the strong titles Crysis and Unreal Tournament 3 (UT 3) could be deduced . A report by simExchange based on NPD figures actually substantiates this fact and comes to the conclusion that neither of the two games has so far reached the important sales milestone of 100,000 copies.

Accordingly Crysis, which started on November 13th in the US, sold 86,633 times by the end of last month - Unreal Tournament 3, which has only been available since November 19, only sold 33,995 times over the counter. To what extent the two top titles sold in Germany is unclear. The US figures can certainly serve as a guide, from which it can be seen that those responsible should be anything but satisfied with their sales figures.
