Counter-Strike will soon also be possible to play on Xbox
The tactical first-person shooter Counter-Strike, loved by many gamers, will be released for Microsoft's Xbox console at some point. The Xbox version should not just be a simple port, but should be adapted to the hardware of the console.
In an interview with Gabe Newell, the head of Valve, some details about the upcoming Xbox Counter Strike were revealed known. The game should be based on Condition Zero, which is currently being developed by Gearbox. The fact that all players have the same hardware requirements should result in some advantages over the PC, according to Newell. At the moment we are still looking for ways to really exploit the potential of the Xbox. The game could be a good title for Xbox Live, the online service for the Xbox that will be launched in the fall. It was not yet possible to say when the game would be ready.
