The results in the AF section are not surprising, because firstly we now know what performance the Radeon is capable of and secondly, it saves some thanks to the lack of detailed textures or other texture access and filter cycle.

The pure The GeForce only succeeds in anti-aliasing up to 1280 with 2xFSAA in playableFrame. The Radeon can convincingly stage all of its FSAA modes up to 1280 and the Connect3D only slowly runs out of breath until 1600.

In principle, the same applies to the Botmatch AF part, as already said in the FlyBy test of the UT2003 demo: The performance hardly suffers from the anisotropic filter, you just have to be able to live with missing detail textures. The remaining textures are displayed all the more beautifully.
