Amazingly, the Radeon has to take a small defeat here in 1024 with 2xFSAA, the GeForce seems to have been ported the SeriousSam engine on Direct3D can handle much better than the Radeon here. Higher FSAA levels bring the usual picture to light here as well. There is no match for the memory bandwidth of 256-bit DDR memory with a clock rate of 310MHz.

Even trilinear filtering is not as significantly faster on the Radeon as it is the case with many of the other tests. Even in higher resolutions, the field is still halfway mixed and not sorted by color, as in most of the other tests. Serious Sam's Direct3D port appears to be its ownTo have laws.
