As we see, we see nothing. At least when it comes to the drop in the frame rate in the lowest resolution. Both cards master this hurdle without breaking a sweat. In 1280 the GeForce4 with 4xFSAA and 4xS-FSAA started to suffer, the Radeon still remains sotically above 60fps. It also succeeds in this in 1600, the competition can only hold up 2xFSAA, which is also executed even more slowly than the 6xFSAA of the Radeon, whose effectively usable memory bandwidth is apparently not facing any serious challenge here.

Even the anisotropic filter alone cannot really challenge either of the two cards here, the Radeon remains ironic until the end, only the GeForce4 loses around 10% of its performance in the highest resolution. Only the combination of both features can, as can be seen on above, at least the GeForce4 quite clearly, the Radeon9700pro only slightly impress.
