CeBit: New graphics cards from Elsa

Elsa announced the expansion of the successful Gladiax graphics card series at CeBit. We're talking about the inexpensive Gladiac 511 generation of graphics boards. It is based on NVidia's new GeForce2 MX-400 chip and is delivered together with ELSAmovie 2000 and a current game bundle. In order to meet the expanded requirements of the market, the Gladiac 511 will be available in a total of five versions:

  • Elsa Gladiac 511TV-OUT 32MB: The card has a TV Output, 32MB SDRAM and should change hands for 249DM.
  • Elsa Gladiac 511TV-OUT 64MB: The card has a TV output, 64MB SDRAM and goes for 299DM via the Counter.
  • Elsa Gladiac 511TWIN: The card has two VGA outputs and a TV-out and can access 32MB graphics memory. The recommended retail price is DM 279.
  • Elsa Gladiac 511DVI: In contrast to the other boards, this card has a VGA and DVI output for connecting analog and digital monitors. The recommended retail price is 299 DM.
  • Elsa Gladiac 511PCI: This card is designed for a PCI slot and has two VGA outputs, TV-out and 32MB memory. The recommended retail price is 329DM.
