CD burners from HP are up to 30 percent cheaper
Hewlett-Packard, market leader in the CD burner sector, is lowering its prices for the CD writer. From the beginning of February, all devices will be around 30 percent cheaper.
The reason for the price reduction is the rapid growth of the global market and the associated lower production costs. For 2001, the CD writer market is expected to grow again by around 70 percent. This year around 27 percent of all PCs sold will be equipped with a CD burner.
