Bullying lawsuit against AMD

AMD is sued by an ex-employee for workplace discrimination. More precisely from the ex-president Walid Maghribi, formerly responsible for the area of 'storage technology'. Supposedly high AMD executives, including AMD boss Jerry Sanders, are said to have bullied Maghribi.

The reason for this is that he is Lebanese and Muslim. Walid Maghribi, one of the highest paid employees at AMD, did not want to continue working under these 'hostile' conditions. His authority has been undermined, Maghribi said. In December of last year he resigned after 16 years. A spokesman for AMD rejected these allegations, however, because it was against the fundamental principles of the chip manufacturer.
