Bill Gates on AOL/Time Warner merger

As a result, the idea of ​​the American FCC (Federal Communication Commission) AOL that the Time Warner cable networks must continue to be open for at least one competitive instant messenger, not by chance. The FCC has since confirmed that Bill Gates has phoned senior FCC officials and suggested it. In the meantime, a conference of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) is running in Detroit on a uniform instant messaging standard without AOL.
