ATI graphics cards significantly cheaper
Additional functions in 3D processing and better DVD playback have caused the graphics card manufacturer ATI to charge a comparatively high price for its products. According to their own statements, this should now be the end of it.
The prices will be reduced very significantly. In the main marketing area, the Radeon 32MB SDR TV out is on a par with the competitor Nvidia, which is 339 DM for comparable GeForce MX cards. The same model as a PCI version costs 359 DM. The DDR-RAM variant of this model has remained even cheaper than an equivalent card from the competition. The price for this is DM 469.00. The top models also have to give way in terms of price. The Radeon 64MB VIVO has the biggest discount, the price of which has even been corrected down by 300 DM to 599 DM. At least 100 DM can be saved on the Radeon All in Wonder TV, which is now available for 799 DM. The Mac Edition is 50 DM cheaper and still costs 559 DM. But if you pay attention you have the chance to get all models even cheaper. The above prices apply including the retail versions. If you can do without fancy packaging and don't need the included software, you can also get the bulk versions at a probably even cheaper price.
