ATi: 4x AGP for notebooks
ATis Rage Mobility, which is already used as a graphics chip for notebooks, has been further improved. The new Mobility M4, as the improved version of the Rage Mobility is called, now has AGP 4x support based on the Rage 128 Pro.
With this new support, ATi promises better performance in 3D applications and play. Up to now it was not possible to use AGP 4x in notebooks because there was no corresponding notebook chipset. Dell has already announced the use of the Mobility 4 in its notebook range.
