Athlon 1333MHz only again at the end of May
As you know, Intel has been struggling with delivery problems for a long time, but now its competitor AMD has also been hit. The Athlon with 1333MHz is currently hardly available and, according to wholesalers, should not be available again until the end of May.
At AMD, however, the situation is far from being as tragic as at Intel, where the Pentium 4 is already back from one Paper-Launch speaks, i.e. a processor that is almost impossible to deliver and only exists on paper. If you consider that AMD will probably introduce the Athlon with 1400MHz as early as mid-May, then further delivery bottlenecks can be expected. Since all currently delivered 1333MHz Athlons would run at 1400MHz and more without any problems, the problem with AMD is probably not due to the yield of fully functional CPUs, but to the high demand.
