Vulpine GLMark v1.1

The second OpenGL hurdle is once again the Vulpine GLMark version 1.1. The boards were allowed to let off steam in both the lowest and very high settings show what they're made of.

By now everyone should notice that the OpenGL results are always very similar. The good performance of the P4T533-C is confirmed by the P4T533. The results of the DDR RAM boards show the minor importance of the RAM type and memory size.

Lightwave 7.0b

Before we turn to the DirectX results in the next section, dare we made a detour to the rendering department and let the boards render two scenes from Lightwave 7.0b. Since our test only concerns Pentium4 boards, the special Pentium4 optimization of the software can be neglected. The uniformly used processor ensures equal opportunities.

In Lightwave the P4T533 is slightly faster than the P4T533-C. The reason cannot be searched for in the larger memory, as the other Rambus and DDR-RAM results show. The P4T533 simply has a slight superiority over its 16-bit counterpart.
