Asus P4T533-C and Intel D850EMV2 in the test: The new i850E with 533MHz FSB

3DMark 2001 SE

If there is currently a benchmark that always has to represent the performance of your own computer as the showcase program, then this is the 3DMark 2001 SE. Certainly one of the main reasons why it can be found in our benchmark course again this time.

As with 3DMark 2000, the PC1066 Rambus can only use 640x480x16Bit with 3DMark 2001 SE give you a bigger lead. In the default run, the lead is again not decisive and can safely be neglected.

Unreal Tournament

At first glance, the first-person shooter from Epic seems due to its somewhat outdated technology not being a contemporary benchmark candidate for a long time. With the so-called 'UT Bench', a recording of a multiplayer match against a number of bots, however, a hurdle that can hardly be surpassed was created for the CPU and thus also the board and memory, which is relatively independent of graphics card and co the mainboard performance.

The rather constant UTBench surprised us again and showed us one for him a relatively big difference between PC1066 and PC800 Rambus. It recorded almost 6 percent more performance, which is quite a big difference in UTBench. The fact that the P4T533-C can also place itself in front of the D850EMV2 hardly needs to be mentioned, since it was also faster in all previous tests.
