Asus P4B533-E and Intel D845GBV in the test: i845E against i845G, i850E and i845D

Cineb ench 2000

This rather compact benchmark is based on the ray tracing program Cinema 4D and gives a good overview of the rendering properties of the CPU chipset memory subsystem and could not be missing on our Pentium4 boards.

Unit: points
  • Shading (4D):
    • D845GBV - GF3Ti200
      18.67
    • P4B533-E - i845E
      18,66
    • P4T533-C - i850E
      18,60
    • D845GBV - i845G
      18,56
    • P4B266-E - i845D
      18,22
  • Shading (GL):
    • P4B533-E - i845E
      30,65
    • P4T533-C - i850E
      30.62
    • D845GBV -GF3Ti200
      30,39
    • P4B266-E - i845D
      30,18
    • D845GBV - i845G
      24, 23
  • Raytracing:
    • P4B533-E - i845E
      24.02
    • D845GBV - GF3Ti200
      23.78
    • P4T533-C - i850E
      23, 73
    • P4B266-E - i845D
      23.61
    • D845GBV - i845G
      22,21

As you know from Cinebench in the past, the differences are once again very small. Only the D845GBV has to admit defeat in OpenGL Shading, which is simply due to the poorer performance of the integrated graphics compared to the GeForce3 Ti200. The P4B533-E can at least set itself apart from the rest when it comes to ray tracing, otherwise all opponents are very close together.
